Options for Gas Supply Diversification for the EU and Germany in the Next Two Decades
10 апреля 2017 г. | In this study, the King’s Colleges European Centre for Energy and Resource Security (EUCERS) and the University of Cologne’s ewi Energy Research & Scenarios take a closer look at the economic implications of the construction of Nord Stream 2 for the EU gas market. In light decreasing domestic production and increasing competition, the study’s base case scenario exhibits a need for investment in new pipeline capacities (among them Nord Stream 2), while the variety in import capacities enhances Europe’s position as a gas importer when dealing with external suppliers.
