Searching for the optimal route
When defining the optimal route for the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline, it is essential to have an accurate picture of the seabed to ensure safe installation and operation, with minimum environmental impacts. An important tool in examining the seabed along the Nord Stream 2 route are remotely operated underwater vehicles (ROVs). These vehicles can detect objects even several hundred meters below the surface.
