Inspection of the pipes in Kotka
The Nord Stream 2 pipes that were produced by Russian companies OMK and Chelpipe are being delivered to the coating plant in Kotka (Finland), where they are inspected. The concrete weight coating began here in early 2017. Almost half of the 200,000 pipes required to build the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline will be coated in Kotka.
