Transshipment - from Kotka to Koverhar

After concrete coating, the pipes were shipped from Kotka to Koverhar, where they were stored until being laid. Pipe storage along the route allowed Nord Stream 2 to supply the materials needed in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner, minimising impacts on the sensitive ecosystem of the Baltic Sea.
