First Pipes for Nord Stream 2 Produced by Europipe Arrive in Mukran
The first 148 pipes for the Nord Stream 2 pipeline were delivered by rail on 27 October 2016 to the German logistics hub Mukran on the island of Rügen. The pipes are loaded onto trucks, inspected to ensure integrity and transported to the nearby storage site. The pipes are produced by Europipe in Mülheim and der Ruhr, Germany. Wasco Coatings Europe is responsible for the concrete coating and logistics of the pipes.
