Searching for the optimal route

The survey vessel Trio launches a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) into the Gulf of Finland. This vehicle can detect objects even several hundred meters below the surface. When defining the optimal route for the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline, it is essential to have an accurate picture of the seabed to ensure safe installation and operation, with minimum environmental impacts.
