Pipe sections stored at the coating plant in Kotka, Finland
The first pipes arrived on 26 September 2016, with concrete weight coating scheduled to begin in early 2017. Almost half of the 200,000 pipes required to build the Nord Stream 2 pipeline system will be coated in Kotka.
