First pipes arrive in Kotka
The first pipe sections were delivered to the coating plant in Kotka, Finland, on 26 September 2016. Concrete weight coating is scheduled to begin in early 2017. Almost half of the 200,000 pipes required to build the Nord Stream 2 pipeline system will be coated in Kotka.
