Ball valve assembly at the PetrolValves factory in Milan
Italian manufacturer PetrolValves produces the Large Top Entry Ball Valves (TEBV) for installation at the German and Russian landfalls. Their main function is to interrupt gas flow for scheduled maintenance or in the unlikely event of an emergency shutdown. These 48-inch, 100-tonne valves are the heaviest and most powerful top entry ball spring-return type valves ever produced. Six will be installed in Germany and eight in Russia.
